Cowboys and Volunteers Move 600 Cattle Trapped by Flood Waters

LIBERTY CO., TX — The Trinity River is just a foot short of record flooding in Liberty County. The rising water isn’t only affecting people, it’s affecting cattle. About 600 cattle were stranded on a ranch surrounded by the rising water. That prompted dozens of cowboys and volunteers to spring into action to save the herd, just like a scene out of the wild west.
