DALLAS - You're going to have some company if you're traveling this summer. Airlines in the U.S. expect this summer travel period to be the busiest ever - with over 222 million expected to fly between June 1st to August 31st.

And if you're flying out of Love Field in Dallas, going through security will probably be the least of your worries. That's because it'll be difficult just to get to the terminal!

Since the Wright Amendment expired late last year, flight traffic at Love has nearly doubled. And that's all fine and dandy, except that the amount of parking hasn't really changed. Travelers we talked to recently are taking notice.

Unfortunately, it'll likely just get worse and worse until more parking is available. Which is exactly why Southwest is teaming up with Lyft, the on demand car service, to get you to Love Field without having to worry about finding that elusive, and probably expensive parking space.

"This summer we'll experience peak travel so this is an effort to get ahead of that," said Thais Hanson, a Southwest Airlines advisor. "A lot of people just said 'hey, we don't even want to take our car to the airport. We just want someone to pick us up and drop us off.'"

Southwest is offering a code to everyone that has an upcoming flight out of southwest to get $10 off to, and from Love Field. You can just feel the love can't you?!
