LEWISVILLE – Oh, the rain. We’ve been seeing a great deal of it all throughout North Texas. And even though we’re getting a peek or two of the sun, there’s more showers to come. Which isn’t the best thing that can happen right about now. Let’s just say North Texas’ cup runneth over.

Lewisville Lake is just one of the many areas seeing spillage due to the seasonal downpours.
"Flooding like this is real dangerous,” Lloyd Hubbard said. “A lot of high water which leads to people getting killed. So it's really concerning."
"It's been a few years since we've had a heavy rain like this, so I think everybody's just kind of in awe at it,” Enrica Ramos said.
The question is, where is all this rain coming from? Well, some folks have an interesting theory, blaming the closing of Blue Bell for our wet weather blues.
One thing’s for sure, I scream, you scream, we’re all screaming for the rain and flooding to end before we reach a tipping point.
