BOSSIER CITY, Louisiana - The nine-year-old girl kidnapped from Benbrook, Texas has been found alive in Louisiana. Police say her uncle was shot and killed during an altercation with authorities Tuesday afternoon.

Police say they were tipped off that Caitlyn Williams and Jessie Williams were hiding out at a Bossier City motel. When officers stormed the room, they say Williams refused to go down without a fight.

An FBI task member was also shot but is expected to be okay. It's unclear who pulled the trigger.

Thankfully, Caitlyn was not hurt and is now back with her family.

Police believe Williams kidnapped his niece Friday. She wasn't reported missing until Monday. A motive for the kidnapping remains unclear.
