DALLAS - Language is ever evolving and under constant construction. So, it should come as no surprise that the popular word game Scrabble has decided to change as well. For the first time in almost 10 years, the Scrabble dictionary is expanding.

The board game has added over 6,000 words to the official word list to better reflect the times. One of the new words -- "twerking." Yep, the term for backing it up is now a usable word.

Next is the Snoop Dogg inspired term "shizzle," which has also been added to the list.

Some texting terms even got some love, like "lolz" & "ridic." The latter which is just a shorter form of ridiculous, for those pressed for time.

And although getting FaceTime with loved ones is priceless, the Apple term is now worth 15 points.

And if you really want to express yourself in the game, the word emoji is now at your disposal.

So, if you and your friends find yourselves rained out this holiday weekend, just know you'll have a lot more words to play with, fo shizzle.
