NORTH TEXAS - Tuesday night was a scary one across North Texas as extreme weather took its toll yet again.

In Wise County, an EF-1 tornado destroyed homes, apartment buildings and most of a trailer park.

Another EF-1 tornado touched down in downtown Mineral Wells, tearing up buildings and knocking down power lines and trees.

Wednesday morning, cleanup was underway.

Mineral Wells business owner Joe Corbin was working on clearing everything out of his business's location. The tornado relocated his roof to the lawn of the church across the street.  But hey, Corbin's business is a roofing company, so at least it's an in-house job.

About 175 volunteers were hard at work cleaning up the damage and hoped to have most of the minor damage taken care of by the end of the day.

While folks in both places keep picking up the pieces from Tuesday's wicked weather, the good news is no one was killed or seriously injured.
