ANGLETON, TX – A Pearland mother is behind bars, arrested on Mother’s Day on charges of drowning her twin toddlers. A Brazoria County grand jury indicted 21-year-old Barbara Ramirez-Sifuentes last week on two counts of manslaughter. She called Pearland police on Feb. 17 saying she found her 15-month-old daughters, Savanna and Sabrina Russo, unresponsive in a bathtub. Both girls went by life-flight to Memorial Hermann Hospital where one of the twins died a few hours later. Doctors removed her sister from life support after five days.
