BOSTON - For the reigning Super Bowl champs, it's the story that just won't go away because it looks like someone has been caught in a lie. That someone in question? A guy by the name of Tom Brady.

On Wednesday, an independent investigation revealed text messages were sent between two Patriots employees responsible for handling game balls. The texts show one of the employees seemed to be fed up with Brady's demands.

“Tom sucks, I'm going to make that next ball a balloon. The only thing deflating Sun is his passing rating," the text said.

But during a press conference before the Super Bowl, Brady denied anything that involved cheating.

“I didn't alter the ball in any way. I don't want anyone rubbing them, putting any air in them, taking any air out," Brady said.

It's turning into a field day for the media, especially in the northeast and Brady's agent calls the whole thing a sting conducted by the NFL.

But the biggest question now is what will the punishment be for the NFL's poster boy?

Looks like Brady is in a bunch of mess.
