DENTON, TX - On the court, Eboniey Jeter was a basketball All-Star at the University of North Texas. And in the classroom, she was studying psychology. But this All-Star's light burned out when she was found dead in her Mozart Square Hall dorm room.

Jeter’s death is still under investigation, and cops don't believe foul play is involved.

Twitter lit up after the news broke, offering support to her family and friends. The NCAA also tweeted condolences to the Mean Green.

“We are grieving, but together, we will get through this and make sure we honor the life of a sweet, young lady who is gone from us way too soon," UNT Women's head coach Jalie Mitchell said in a statement.

This isn’t the first tragedy this year for the Mean Green. Last month, another 21-year-old student was found dead inside her Denton apartment. Her cause of death has not been determined.

As for Jetter, the investigation goes on and Coach Mitchell is asking for privacy for both the family and team.
