DALLAS, TX -- Bloody Mary’s, eggs, a mimosa or two, or three...seems like everyone in Big D is hype city on brunch these days.
“Brunch is my favorite meal, and I would say it’s an event here in Dallas,” Chanelle Fisher said.
Sounds like brunch may is the new happy hour. Hey, there is nothing more relaxing and recharging than a “Sunday Funday.”
So, it only seemed fitting that Savor Dallas wrapped up it’s weekend foodie fest at Cafe Momentum with an toast to the Sunday morning classic.
“The title is community brunch, so it’s talking about community in general. Dallas as a community. It’s a wonderful wonderful vibe,” chef Chad Houser said.
“We’ve got green egg’s and ham strada with benton bacon and a little bit of gruyere cheese and parsley pea stew, brisket and potato hash. It’s a pretty eclectic and very rich menu.”
So, now that we're starving, what's key to a good brunch?
“The key to a very good brunch starts with a good bloody mary,” Houser said.
“Definitely the mimosas,” Fisher added.
“Great food, like just arrived and probably one more glass of champagne than you would usually drink,” Allison Brown commented.
