SILVER SPRING, MD – Leaving a child home alone is one thing, but letting them walk alone on the streets? That’s the rocky road two parents in Maryland are walking down with Child Protective Services after they let their 10-year-old son and six-year-old daughter walk by themselves to a park. Danielle and Alexander Meitiv thought it was a good way of teaching their kids independence and confidence.
