ARLINGTON, TX — It's no secret Jerry World is used to hosting champs.

Well, this weekend, forget about tackles and touchdowns; AT&T Stadium will be all about tumbles and dismounts.

Mykala Skinner is just one of several Olympic hopefuls competing at the AT&T American Cup. On Thursday, the talented tumblers hit the floor to prep for the big competition.

“I think its really cool; it`s a different experience,” said the team USA gymnast. “I mean, I`ve never been in a stadium this big before so it`s really awesome. It`s a great experience.”

North Texas golden girl and Olympic gold medalist Nastia Liukin was on hand to check out these gymnasts.

She has her own cup in town this weekend, the Nastia Liukin Cup. That competition will kick off on Friday and features the top junior Olympic gymnasts.

You never know. The next great Texan Olympian may be on this very floor.

Like two-time world champion Simone Biles from Spring, Texas; she's ready to “spring” onto the podium.

“I have a big crowd coming to watch me and they haven`t seen me compete in a couple of years, so I`m just so excited and I think this stadium is amazing,” said Simone.

The dream for this 17-year-old is clear: The 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio.

“I guess since it is a year away, it`s still so hard to think about because anything can happen. And I guess I just don`t want to get too far ahead of myself,” said Simone, “So I like to keep it meet by meet and see how it goes.”

So, folks take a good look at these names and faces. You may see them on the Olympic podium soon!
