New plane tracking system tested as missing MH370 anniversary nears

AUSTRALIA - As the one-year anniversary of missing Malaysia Airlines flight 370 nears, Australia, Malaysia, and Indonesia are all testing out a new method for tracking planes over remote areas.

With this new system, long-haul aircraft will be required to check in every 15 minutes instead of every 30 to 40 minutes under the current system in place.
