DALLAS — How much should you spend on your first date? The guys in Reno, Nevada are pulling out all the stops according to one survey. They pay an average of $230 on the first date.

“That’s about right," Fred Tackett said. "If you’re taking her to a club or something."

Texas was near the top of the list too! Dallas came in at #6 for $175 and Houston hit 10 at $143.

“My first date with my current girlfriend, we got coffee -- $30,” Clayton  McCray said.

“If you take her to a nice restaurant, a few drinks, yeah, you’re going to spend 100, 75 to 100 bucks,” Tackett mentioned.
