ATLANTA — Sadly, Bobbi Kristina is not getting better. She remains in a medically induced coma at Emory Hospital in Atlanta, nearly a month after being found face down, unconscious in her bathtub.

CNN reports doctors tried taking her off various medications but were forced to put her back on the drugs because she started having seizures.

Last week, doctors removed Bobbi Kristina’s breathing tube, allowing her to be ventilated through a hole in her throat.

At the time, CNN’s chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta said the move suggested she would need to be on such support for “weeks and months to come, as opposed to hours and days.”

Her father, Bobby Brown refuses to take her off life support and is praying for a miracle.

It remains unclear what led to the incident. Police have said they are treating the case as a criminal investigation. Bobbi Kristina’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon, has been questioned after bruises were found on her face and mouth. He has not been charged with anything.

Tragically, her mother Whitney Houston who died in 2012, was similarly found in a bathtub. A coroner ruled Houston’s death an accidental drowning, with heart disease and cocaine use listed as contributing factors.
