FORT WORTH--Just as predicted: There is ice, there is sleet, schools are closed,  with good reason. The meteorologists pretty much nailed this on

No twitter apologies are necessary here, unlike the faux-blizzard that missed New York City in January.

“A good forecast is a much better feeling than a missed forecast,” says meteorologist Mark Fox of the National Weather Service in Fort Worth.

For Fox and his colleagues, there is no time to rest on their laurels. Phones are ringing off the hook and another storm is possible on Wednesday.

“South of I-20, it’s going to be mainly in the form of rain but there are still some question marks about north of I-20,” Fox said.

So to the weather people, a tip of the icicle for calling this storm. Now just make it go away!
