NORTH TEXAS -- It’s the red-hot Valentine’s Day flick that’s teased audicences world-wide with the promise of steaming-up the silver screen.

Of course, we’re talking about 50 Shades of Grey. The torrid tale turned kinky flick has, shall we say, fallen short of expectations. Yeah, turns out the first reviews of Grey are more black and white.

Currently, the movie has a rating of 33% on Rotten Tomatoes. Ouch! That’s gotta hurt more than the whips, no?

One critic writes: “The book isn't better than the movie, and the film isn't better than the book.”

Another adds: “A flaccid S and M movie that's more infuriating than titillating?”

Wow, looks like those blind folds will come in handy – but more so at the theater, rather than the bedroom. Speaking of Grey gadgets – looks like some folks are getting into a real bind.

Get this – the London Fire Brigade recently said it’s worried the movie release will increase -- ummm, incidents.

The BBC reports since 2013, fire crews have responded to 28-calls of people caught in handcuffs and have removed 293 rings – and those weren’t on fingers, folks. Talk about 50 Shades of Red;  that’s just embarrassing.

Hey, guess it’s always best to practice safe sex.
