AMMAN, Jordan – Jordan has a new ally in its air war against ISIS. The United Arab Emirates have joined the fray with a squadron of F-16 fighter jets.
Jordan has been striking hard at ISIS ever since the terror group released a video that appeared to show them burning to death a captured Jordanian pilot.
Meantime, Japanese officials stopped a freelance journalist from traveling to Syria by taking his passport. Government officials say the recent murder by ISIS of two Japanese citizens left them no choice.
And, there’s still no word on whether 26-year-old Kayla Mueller, an aid worker from Arizona, is still alive.
