WICHITA, Kansas — It may be the offseason but unfortunately for the Cowboys, trouble knows no season. That’s because our alleged underwear and cologne stealing running back Joseph Randle was at it again Tuesday after he was arrested for unlawful possession of pot.
It happened after cops showed up to Randle’s hotel room in Wichita, Kansas after receiving a call about domestic violence.
The mother of Randle’s child, Dalia Jacobs, claims that when she grabbed their child and went to the parking lot, Randle waved a gun at her and punched her car, breaking a window.
But now the possession charge against Randle has been dropped due to “inconsistencies” and Jacobs has filed for a protective order and is also claiming that Randle hasn’t paid child support.
Cops didn’t report finding a gun at the scene, but Jacobs claims that’s because Randle’s friend drove away with it.
At this point, one has to wonder if the Cowboys think that a guy who totaled 343 yards and 3 touchdowns last season is worth all this trouble, especially with the NFL’s now strict policy concerning domestic violence incidents involving its players.
So while the drug charges against Randle have been dropped, it remains to be seen whether Randle himself will be dropped for this latest incident.
