ARLINGTON, TX — A five-month-old baby girl is dead and her father is accused of killing her.

Edwin Alexander Andrade-Ramos of Arlington has been charged with serious bodily injury to a child.

Paramedics were called to the family’s home on January 28 where they found little Marjorie Ramos-Pena unconscious. The girl’s mother told police Marjorie refused to eat and wasn’t acting like herself when she arrived home from work.

She was rushed to Cook Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth. Doctors uncovered she had multiple fractures and a serious head injury.

Sadly, Marjorie died a week later.

Detectives say their investigation uncovered Andrade-Ramos caused his daughter’s deadly injuries. He’s now being held at the Arlington City Jail.
