FORT WORTH -- Things are mooo-ving in Fort Worth! This weekend, Cowtown visitors can check out the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, where young folks got their chance to show off their steers.

"Right now, we're just getting ready for the show," said Cassidy Lane.

Reagan Copeland had the same plan.  "Well, I'm going to show my steer. Hopefully, here in a few hours, and hopefully on Saturday I will get to sell him."

Over 40 kids from all over the state came out to the Stock Show in hopes of selling off their steers.

"If you win your class, I think its $40,000. So it's lots of money," Justi Rusk said.

Talk about a cash cow! Saturday, these hopeful champion cows will also be auctioned off, bringing in some more udderly ridiculous money for these bovine beauties.

But a lot of work goes into prepping these heavyweights.

"You got to wash them," Copeland said.

"Make their hair look good," Rusk added.

And also, "Trim him a little bit," said Lane.

Yeah, working with these animals is no bull. But in this case, the hard work really pays off!
