Rare Megamouth Shark Washes Up in Philippines

URIAS PASS, Philippines – A fishermen in central Philippines netted a mega catch after spotting a 15-foot megamouth shark; it was found in the Albay province, just off the coast of the Burias Pass.


A rare frilled shark was caught by a fisherman off Australia's southwest coast. The fish, looking like something out of "Alien," has more in common with "Jurassic Park." The six-foot long frilled shark is sometimes described as a fish "fossil that dates back 80 million years.<br /><br />
