DALLAS, TX -- Ben Pierce’s life mission has never been so clear.  The 9-year-old is slowly losing his eyesight, but he’s not losing sight of his goal --
to collect as many memories as possible.

Ben has generated a wish list of places and experiences he’d like to see, before his world fades into darkness.

Ben’s wish list has already taken him thousands of miles away to Alaska, where he crossed the Northern Lights off his list.

"Amazing," he said. "It's really pretty, it's like watercolors going across the sky."

Not to mention the sights he soaked-in while in New York City and at the Grand Canyon.

On Saturday, the little globetrotter met the Globetrotters. Yes, Ben’s dream to play basketball with the world-famous Harlem Globetrotters was realized.

Check that one off the list.

Ben proves you don’t need perfect vision to see how special life, and all it’s glorious sights, can be.
