LunchBuddyBanditJan12DALLAS — A thug dubbed the “Lunch Buddy Bandit” is on the run with a lot of dough that doesn’t belong to him, and we’re not talking about lunch bread either.

This guy is wanted for holding up or trying to rob at least 11 banks across Dallas in the past month — all around lunchtime, hence the name.

The most recent takedown happened Wednesday at the Capitol One on Gaston Avenue.

Cops say the suspect — described as a black male, 25-35 years old, about 5’10” — always has the same m.o. He storms in wearing dark clothing and a San Antonio Spurs or Phoenix Suns hat, claims to have a gun, demands cash from the teller, then takes off with a wad of cash.

In one case, witnesses say he got away in a light-colored Chevy Impala with a sunroof, tinted windows, and a spoiler.
