VALLEY RANCH–We all know Dez Bryant really caught that ball.

Now Jerry Jones wants to be sure *he* doesn’t *drop* a ball.

Sure, they made the playoffs, but Jerry is jonesing for more. We all are.

Just four days after the end of their season, Jerry made some big coaching announcements.

“We wanted to officially make the announcement that Cowboys have signed long term agreement with (head coach) Jason (Garrett),” Jones said.

Yeah, you probably heard about that already. 5 years. 30 mill. Dang.

“I want to build football team that everyone who’s associated with that football team is proud of,” Garrett said. “I feel like we’ve done that.”

Part of that involves the coaching staff.  Coordinators Scott Linehan and Rod Marinelli are coming back for 3 year deals.

The Cowboys had to get ’em locked down quickly. Someone already snagged offensive line coach Bill Callahan. He got a 3 year deal with that Washington team-who-shan’t-be-named.

We’re still waiting to see what happens with some key players, like Dez and DeMarco.

Jerry must be doing something right. The Pro Football Writers of America just named him the executive of the year.

He’ll be *everybody’s* man of the year if he can get our team all the way next year.
