GREEN BAY, WI – An improbable Cowboys season came to an agonizing end at Lambeau Field on Sunday as the Green Bay Packers topped Dallas 26-20, eliminating them from the playoffs.

The game was a classic, and the Boys had their moments, but several crucial mistakes, and an overturned call that will live in Dallas infamy, eventually cost them the game.

The Cowboys led 21-13 in the third quarter but couldn’t hold off the Packers offensive attack. A heroic fourth quarter drive seemed to be leading to a go-ahead touchdown when Tony Romo connected with Dez Bryant on an amazing 31 yard pass on 4th and 2 down to the Packers one yard line, but the catch was overturned with officials saying Bryant didn’t hang onto the ball throughout the entire catch.

The controversial ruling gave the ball over to the Packers, who would run the clock out from there.

The season which many thought was a hopeless cause from the start, took fans on a ride they won’t soon forget… but ends the way the last eighteen seasons have: watching the championship from home.
