Christine Cavanaugh Dies at Age 51

LOS ANGELES-Perhaps one of the most recognizable voices in the cartoon world has died at the age of 51.

Christine Cavanaugh, best known for her voiceover roles in Babe and her work as famous red heads, Chuckie from Rugrats and kid scientist Dexter.

But her first big break came in 1991 as the voice of Goslyn Duck in Darkwings Duck cartoon.

Cavanaugh died on December 22nd, although how she died has not been released.

Her obituary in the Los Angeles Times says a lot about her life.

"Accolades, notoriety, and recognition were not the reason for her interest in entertainment, it was for the love of entertainment, to make people smile," it read.

And make us smile she did.
