Here's a big shout-out to all the Simpson-ites out there.

America's longest-running  scripted primetime TV show  has turned 25. That's not counting two years of Simpsons "shorts" on The Tracy Ullman Show.

The Simpsons debuted in 1989 here on channel 33. We were Fox 33 back then.

Time Magazine named The Simpsons the best TV show of the 20th century!

On the other hand, this not-so-traditional cartoon was criticized for its not-so-traditional family ways.

But maybe the ability to keep up with pop culture is why this show's in for 561 episodes ... and counting!

So break out the Duff Beer and do the Bart Man -- it's time to celebrate!
