PLANO, TX -- Arrested, charged and now under close watch. NewsFix confirmed, Enrique Arochi, the man charged in the disappearance of Christina Morris, is under special supervision at the Collin County Detention Center.
Arochi is listed on the county site as being held in an infirmary cell. We’re told he’s there as a precaution, and is under constant supervision.
On Saturday, the 24-year-old was arrested and charged with aggravated kidnapping. He’s being held on a $1M bond and an immigration detainer.
Meanwhile, 24-hours following the major break in a three-month long investigation, family of Christina Morris say they’re still focused on their mission: finding Christina.
Morris' mom, Jonni McElroy, tells NewsFix she just wants Arochi to talk to the cops, and disclose any information he may have. Jonni says Sunday will be reserved for the family to regroup; a time to register the magnitude of the arrest and how it marks progress in her daughter’s case.
Jonni returned to North Texas Saturday afternoon, after hearing the news. She said Arochi's arrest wasn’t surprising.
But it looks like there’ll be no rest for the weary -- the family says they’ll hit the streets again come Monday, searching for clues. Jonni says she’ll head back to the drawing board, and meet with her private investigator to draft a new plan of action.
