PLANO, TX -- The search for Christina Morris just got serious.

A K-9 team from Houston was brought in to track down the missing 23-year-old who hasn't been seen in over three months.

On Friday, new developments, straight from the Plano private investigator working the case. Paula Boudreaux says the dogs hit on Christina`s scent in one of the fields they were searching.

You gotta think this is promising news for a family desperate to find her.

The search for Christina started back in September. Since then, teams have been relentless in their efforts  on foot, horseback and in the air using drones.

Christina's face can still be seen around the Shops at Legacy -- the last place she was spotted before she vanished.

By now,  we've all seen the surveillance video, taken from a parking garage. It shows her walking with Enrique Arochi -- a former high school classmate.

Cops questioned Enrique and even searched his car and house. Yet, no arrests and no person of interest has been named in this case.

Well,  looks like the P.I. might have a new lead, and maybe the K-9 team can sniff out a suspect.
