The Wall Street Journal reported the beloved Budweiser Clydesdales would be put out to pasture for the holidays, all to make room for ads like this...

Whoa, Nellie!

Twitter-land went on a fizz, bashing the King of Beers for their total lack of horse-sense. Folks just weren't feeling the whole #holidaybuds.

Turns out the reason Bud was planning to let the Clydesdales trot out of town is because more than 40% of beer drinkers in their 20s have never popped open a Bud.

So, the brew brand decided it needed a more hip and younger crowd.

But, hold your horses people! Now, Bud’s tweeting they’re not getting rid of the hooves for the holidays.

Hmph? Did they have a change of heart after all the backlash or did things get a little misinterpreted?

Who knew a herd of horses could create so much hype? Did those  frogs ever have this much fame?
