DALLAS -- Dallas Stars visited Children's Medical Center Dallas Monday Afternoon. Team captain Jamie Benn,  centerman Shawn Horcoff,  and centerman Cody Eakin were just some of the players who traded in pucks and helmets for foosballs and joysticks.

In a couple of play areas for Children's Medical patients kids made there way up to play and interact with the sports stars. Getting autographed cards and challenging players to video games and foosball smiles could be seen on everyone.

And for kids who couldn't make it up Dallas Stars players visited a handful in their rooms. Including a 4 year old Taylor who's mother Angela thought the whole experience was a nice distraction.

Stars Captain, Jamie Benn says, " We're trying to bring some smiles on their faces but it brings us together here as well. "
