FORT WORTH -- The halls of Como Elementary looked a lot different on Monday; kids had the day off and it wasn't a snow day.

Instead, cleaning crews had class, picking up after vandals broke in on Saturday evening and tore the place up!

"They came in through a second level window, which means they had to come in through the roof," said Clint Bond, Spokesperson for Fort Worth ISD.

Fort Worth ISD released this surveillance video of three suspects seen stealing electronics, destroying school property and desecrating a U.S. flag.

Perhaps this is proof that these crooks were there for more than just a five finger discount. School officials are asking the public for help in identifying the perps.

"We want people to look at the video and if they know who these perpetrators are that they contact the Fort Worth Police,” said Bond.

Kids head back to class on Tuesday; their school will be in better shape than it was left over the weekend.

“Our teachers will be able to calm them and let them know that they are safe and that we will have breakfast together. We'll be ready at 8 o' clock to begin instruction,” said Dr. Cassandra Surles, Principal of Como Elementary.

Here's hoping cops school these trouble makers.
