Mother Nature is about to take us from sandals and shorts, to boots and scarfs. The chill is on as Big D braces for the big freeze.

A cold front is expected to creep in around 3a.m. on Tuesday. You'll wake up to highs in the 40’s and lows dipping down to the 30's for the rest of the week!

If you're asking yourself what happened to the fall weather, you're not alone. But this is Texas, hot one day and cold the next.

So put the tank tops away and get ready to curl up with a blanket, after all, winter is coming.
