DALLAS ZOO --  You might ask yourself what's in a name? Well, for one nameless baby giraffe at the Dallas Zoo, it's worth a cool $50,000.

An anonymous donor put down the cash for naming rights. Now he needs the public's help with naming our new leggy friend.

Midterm elections might be over, but it's not too late to cast your vote for one of these names.

  • We've got Kopano which means united
  • Usawa means equality
  • Shingo meaning neck

Wonder if they'll take a write-in candidate on this one?

The generous chunk of change will be used to help save babies like this guy out in the wild.

Kids of a different species will also benefit from the naming contest. The public can nominate a local DFW school to win a visit from the zoo!

Voting ends November 9. So what are you waiting for?! You don't even have to get out of your pajamas for this one!
