Dallas -- Call it the big chill in Big D.

“It’s a little cold, took me by surprise, but I like it because I love my scarf, so it’s time for scarf season,” Shonta Jackson said.

Scarf season is right! Saturday’s colder temps had folks digging out their warmer winter clothes. Hey, we dipped down into the 30s Friday night -- it’s been months since we’ve been that cold in North Texas.

Yeah, quite the different picture from just a week ago. Remember when we were walking around in shorts and t-shirts?

"It was nice and warm the last week, and then today, it just suddenly got real chilly and started chilling off last night," Brandon Harris.

Well, guess this is just mother nature’s reminder that it is fall, after all. Oh, but in true Texas fashion, temperatures will rebound back into the 70s by the work-week.

So, enjoy those scarves while you can.
