DALLAS – If you haven’t made it out to the State Fair of Texas, you better head to Fair Park – like right now.
It’s the final weekend. Yep, no more corny dogs after Sunday.
And boy can we say it’s been an interesting ride this go-round. Folks weathered the storm this year – literally. They survived a loose steer scare. And not to mention dealt with an ongoing Ebola crisis.
Surprisingly the ‘Big E’ hasn’t affected this year’s attendance. Fair folks report this year’s 24-day run is one of the record books. It brought in major crowds – and packed the park for the Red River Show-down.
How’s that for bragging rights?
Well save those fried tears, folks. You have few more days to get your fill of the fair, before Big Tex rides off into the sunset.
