NEW YORK--Think you were ready for the end of the work week?

The way the markets have been the past few days, there's no doubt stock traders were ready, too.

The closing bell stopped things for now. The Dow Jones average lost 115 points today alone and 350 points for the week.
There were lots of ups and downs with no easy explanations.
