WYLIE,TX -- It’s been five days since family members have seen a Wylie woman, Almaz Gebremedhin.

The wife and mother of two left for work at 5 a.m. last Thursday, but she never made it there.

Her husband, Sisay Zelelew, says he didn't know anything was wrong until Almaz didn't pick the kids up from school. That's when he knew something wasn't right.

"I thought she might be busy at work and I called her workplace and they told me she didn't come to work, so I knew at that time I had to call the police," Zelelew said.

Almaz is described as a black woman, 5 feet tall and 135 pounds. She was last seen wearing her scrubs and driving her 2004 silver Chevy Ventura minivan.

"The message is the same -- help us find her. Help us find her and join the family," said Zelelew.

Now, the Ethiopian community has come together to help find Almaz, offering a $ 10,000 reward for information in her disappearance.

Call Wylie Police Department at (972) 442-8170 if you have any information.
