CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – There’s one big question floating through Charlottesville, Virginia — where is Hannah Graham?

The 18-year-old University of Virginia student was last seen on September 13, 2014. Surveillance video showed her at a gas station, and then later outside a bar with Jesse Matthew.

Jesse is the police’s number one suspect.

“In fact, I believe Jesse Matthew was the last person she was seen with before she vanished off the face of this Earth,” said Charlottesville police chief Timothy Longo.

Police searched Jesse’s car and apartment, but nothing. Search crews also came up empty handed. However, Jesse did show up to the police station over the weekend when he found out police were looking for him, but there wasn’t enough to hold him on. That didn’t stop police from issuing an arrest warrant. Police say that when Jesse left the station, they openly trailed him. He sped off and lost them, so now police are trying to bring him in on reckless driving charges.

As for Hannah’s parents, all they can do is hold onto hope and BB, Hannah’s stuffed rabbit. It’s a rabbit her parents said was her guardian angel and constant companion since she was a kid.

Hannah’s parents are asking anyone with information to come forward. In a press conference, her dad said, “We need to find out what happened to Hannah and make sure that it doesn’t happen to anybody else.”
