ARLINGTON -- Every thing old was new again at Retropalooza 2014. The weekend-long event celebrates all the childhood classics: toys, music, video games and comics.

Hundreds of attendees came out to the Arlington Convention Center to participate in the flashback, or to buy, sell and trade some memorable merchandise from back in the day.

90s style television sets were hooked up to Nintendo Gaming Systems and Sega Genesis consoles so attendees could play some of their favorite video games.

“This is an event that basically celebrates all things retro," Billy Hudson with Game Chasers said. "Mainly retro gaming because we’re just a bunch of middle-aged men reliving our childhood.”

“A lot of cool people, a lot of knowledgeable people that are here to have a really good time, that’s what it’s about,” attendee Beth Baalman added.
