VALLEY RANCH, TX -- There's been lot of bad press and bad decisions for the NFL this season and the hits keep on coming.

Vikings star Adrian Peterson and Panthers player Greg Hardy have both been deactivated for their child abuse and domestic violence cases. Guess Ray Rice has some company.

On the Cowboys front, Orlando Scandrick came back early from his drug suspension after the NFL changed its policy on amphetamines, and Josh Brent is scheduled to return in Week 11.

Brent's the guy who was convicted of intoxication manslaughter after he crashed his car, killing the passenger, fellow Cowboy Jerry Brown.

With the hammer coming down on convict NFL players, will Jerry's welcome wagon still be open for Brent in a couple months? We shall see.
