FORT WORTH -- The Texas Association of Magicians Convention was held in Fort Worth over Labor Day weekend, providing a magical place for young and old.

Bill Irwin, President of the association, said the event attracted magicians from Taiwan, Singapore and Japan. The annual convention allows attendees to hone their skills and learn new ones, while among fellow magicians.

The convention also included competitive events where participating magicians performed their tricks on stage, and in a parlor-style environment.

Irwin and a few other magicians allowed NewsFix inside their magical world.
