PASADENA, CA — Class hasn’t even started for one California school, but two students are already in detention.
Just days before the start of the school year, police arrested two students in South Pasadena after authorities found out about their plans for a mass school shooting.
Apparently, the 16 and 17-year-old boys concocted a scheme to kill three staff members and as many students as they could.
Investigators got a tip about the scheme from school officials, and that’s when they started checking out their online activity. Police found out the teens were looking up stuff about submachine guns, rifles, explosives and tactical techniques.
Definitely not child’s play, as we’ve learned all too often.
