It’s that time again! Time for some foooootball!! And the Cotton Bowl is no stranger to pigskin rivalries like Grambling State University v. Prairie View A&M University. This year the showdown happens on September 27th!

But the Cotton Bowl is asking fans to bring just one item this year: Yourself! They’re implementing the NFL bag policy in order to keep fans and players safe. They’re asking everyone to leave the big bags and purses at home!

Only clear plastic bags no larger than 12 by 6 inches will be allowed along with one gallon sized freezer bag.

So why the new restrictions? Well not only will this keep everyone safer, but faster lines mean you’ll get to that hot dog a lot quicker.

Don’t be the only guy to foul at the door, here’s what you can’t bring: coolers, briefcases, backpacks, seat cushions and any large bags.

And if you’re gearing up for the Texas v. OU game on October 11th, you can expect the same bag ban restrictions.
