Looks like Mo’ne is gaining mo-mentum! That’s right; Mo’ne Davis is becoming a celebrity phenom after pitching a complete game shutout for the Philly’s Taney Dragons on Friday. A first for a girl in Little League World Series history.

She’s the talk of the town in Williamsport, receiving congratulatory tweets from celebs like Magic Johnson and Seattle Seahawks quarterback, Russell Wilson.

She’s even getting shout outs from the MLB! Her 70-mile-an-hour fastball is hard to ignore! Sending the boys back into the dugout! But Mo’ne might have a slight advantage, most 13-year-old boys haven’t hit puberty yet. You know what they say, girls mature faster than boys!

Even though all eyes are on her, Mo’ne has her eyes set on a different playing field after the World Series — the basketball court. She’s only 5’4″, but wants to eventually play for the WNBA.

She’s blazing a trail to victory for the dragons. They play the Las Vegas Sluggers on Wednesday. The winner moves on to the U.S. finals.
