FORT WORTH- Every now and then, we all get the late night munchies, right? Well, food wasn’t what one Fort Worth man was wanting when he walked into these fast food joints. Fortunately, police say he’s been caught.

“He’s conducted at least 14 robberies in the city of Fort Worth; since the second week in July, he did two robberies just last night. Back to back, just 20 minutes of each other,” said Detective Brian Raynsford with the Fort Worth Police Department.

Fort Worth PD was looking for Spergel Polk. On Seminary Street, he allegedly hit up a Wendy’s, Subway and a Dollar General before moving over to Meadowbrook Drive and robbing another Subway, Little Caesar’s, a Pizza Hut, and a Church’s Chicken.

“He uses a note that announces it’s a robbery and threatens the clerk,” said Detective Raynsford.

Cops warned that Polk was armed and may be on drugs; he has also assaulted some of the cashiers as well.

“He grabbed an employee by the throat and threw him to the ground as he made his escape,” Detective Raynsford said. “We’re asking the public to keep their eyes out for this man. We need to take this person into custody without any more people being harmed by this man.”
