Helping Kidd’s Kids: One Year After Kraddick’s Death

Folks were lining up at Chili’s Tuesday for a food fundraiser. Yep, for every cheeseburger and margarita, the chain is donating 15% of the check to Kidd’s Kids.

Hey, gimme a basket of fries with that, too!

This feel good charity, created by DJ Kidd Kraddick, sends kids living with cancer and other tough diagnoses to Disney World for a week with their families.

Kraddick’s sudden death a year ago from heart disease has only intensified interest in helping his Kids. It seems everybody wants to do their part to keep his legacy alive.

Ironically, it was only after his sudden death that folks found out he too had been diagnosed with cancer — just like so many of the kids who went on those ‘once in a lifetime’ trips to Orlando.

But those trips cost big bucks. Hey, it’s not too late to make your dinner count. Here’s look at you, Kidd!
