UPDATE:  Dallas police say the man suspected of breaking into several North Dallas homes has been caught in Arkansas.

22-year-old Brandon Pickens was arrested Tuesday in North Little Rock. He’s booked into the Faulkner County, Arkansas jail to face theft charges there. No word on when he’ll be sent back to Dallas to face charges here.

DALLAS — There are crafty crooks, and then you have this guy.

His face is now plastered on posters all over a North Dallas neighborhood. Folks in the Harvest Hill area are on the lookout for a very busy burglar, who is raiding the homes of unsuspecting residents.

Dallas Police believe he’s broken into six homes in recent weeks, walking away with all sorts of electronics, jewelry and liquor.

Well, you have to drink something to give you the courage to break down people’s back doors in the middle of the day.

Thanks to a tech-savvy homeowner who set up a surveillance system that lets him watch his house remotely, detectives have a pretty good idea what their suspect looks like.

Soon enough, DPD will catch up with this break-in bandit and take something away from him….his freedom.
