Dallas, it’s game on!

Thousands of gamers are rocking and rolling the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas this week. They’re here for the 19th annual Quake-Con convention.

“It’s a celebration,” says Pete Heinz Vice President of Marketing at Bethesda Softworks. “Everyone is having such a good time in a community that continues to grow. “

Imagine a giant room filled with all sorts of monitors, game consoles and computers as well as miles of cables for an interactive jam session.
These gamers aren’t just here to check out the latest technology in the industry, but they are competing for prizes and sharpening their skills.

Freaks and geeks are not labels of shame here; instead, they are badges of pride at Quake-Con.
